Everything you need to know about the OnePlus 9 series ahead of its launch

The phone series OnePlus 9 and OnePlus 9 Pro will be the brand's next big launch in the segment. Leaks around the line have been cropping up since October 2020.
To the models mentioned above, an OnePlus 9 Lite (or OnePlus 9E) would also be included.
Now, before the launch of the family of terminals, key details have emerged about the OnePlus 9 and 9 Pro.

 

Displays

The source points out that both models - OnePlus 9 and OnePlus 9 Pro will make use of perforated screens. The standard model would have a flat screen with a size of 6.55 inches with Full HD + resolution and a refresh rate of 120Hz. Meanwhile, the OnePlus 9 Pro model would make use of a curved-edge screen with a size of 6.78 inches, Quad HD + resolution, and refresh rate of 120Hz. Both panels have a perforation with a diameter of 3.8 mm placed in their upper left corner.

 

Hardware

As expected, both these upcoming OnePlus flagship smartphones will make use of Qualcomm's powerful new Snapdragon 888 chipset. At the moment, the source of the leak does not know the exact capacities of the batteries of both models.

However, it reveals that both models would have a maximum battery size of 4,500mAh. Even so, these devices are expected to arrive with cells of different sizes.
The OnePlus 9 and 9 Pro will have a weight that will not exceed 200 grams. The standard model could feature a slim 8mm profile, while the Pro variant could feature an 8.5mm thickness.

 

Other details of OnePlus 9

A few weeks ago, the first leaked images of what would be the standard OnePlus 9 emerged on the internet. Thanks to these it was revealed to us that the terminal panel supports a Full HD + resolution of 1080 x 2400 pixels with an aspect ratio of 20:9.
Also that it will have 8 GB of RAM and 128 GB of storage accompanying the chipset. These about upcoming OnePlus smartphones will run the Android 11 operating system as standard under the OxygenOS custom layer.

Its rear area will be home to a triple camera system, with a 48-megapixel main sensor. The front camera will be 16 megapixels. It is also speculated that it will offer wireless charging. The Pro model would enjoy fast 45W wireless charging.

Moving on to the OnePlus 9 Lite, not much is known about it yet. Previously it was suggested that it could arrive equipped with the Snapdragon 865 chipset.
However, considering that the brand confirmed that it will launch a phone with the new Snapdragon 870, it is likely that it is the OnePlus 9 Lite.

To culminate, the OnePlus 9 series could be announced in mid-March of this year 2021.
